Web GUI stops working

Featured Replies

I built a new box running 5.0 beta14 and if I run a parity check the web site becomes unavailable. The one share on this box is still available and I can telnet to the server. I have tested the memory no errors. I have included the syslog. Any Ideas?

Thanks

What is are your system specs? Cpu etc?

Does it come back after the check completes?

No the web page never appears again, I usually reboot the server through telnet....

I am having the same failure on beta14 as well. I can reboot the server and the webgui is available for a few minutes, then it becomes unreachable. I can Telnet, but that is also finicky - I might have to do it several times to get in. I was trying to download my syslog when it keeled over earlier tonight. I noticed that I had one error in the syslog.

AMD_IDE: probe of 0000:00:06:0 failed with error -12

The last thing I did to the server was to set the MTU to match my router. After that, I was turning off all the unnecessary stuff (IDE, Serial ports, etc.), hoping that the reboot would help this problem. Looks like I need to try something else!

I am running a Zotac ITX-6100 with 4MB of Ram, AMD Sempron 145 Sargas, 2x 1.5Tb WD EARS drives SATA 3.0
