Safely moving data from the Array to the Cache for an appdata share

Featured Replies

Hi All,

In a share, is there a procedure for moving data from the Secondary Storage (Array) back to the Primary storage (Cache)? I can confirm that new data is being written to the Cache at /mnt/cache/appdata, but older files have been moved to the Array at /mnt/user/appdata.

I'd like to safely migrate the older data back to the Cache, then remove the Array from the secondary storage so that appdata is never moved. Do I need to I manually make these filesystem changes? Could I configure the Mover action so that it transfers from the Array --> Cache?

Thank you
