March 14, 201214 yr I restarted my array (5.0 beta13) and noticed that two drives stayed in "mounting" state for longer than normal. While this was happening they both showed writes as did the parity drive. When the array finally started up it immediately went into a parity check. Any ideas what's going on? No sync errors detected yet but it just started with a 3TB parity drive. Should I be concerned about my data?

March 14, 201214 yr Author Thanks for the quick response. I did try to stop they array but it hung (forgot to put that in my OP). Are writes to a drive while mounting expected in this circumstance?
