got a notification in UI about upgrading. Clicked it.

After a reboot It can't boot from the flash.

It says:

That sounds as if your BIOS is no longer trying to boot from the flash drive!  Have you checked that it is still set to do so?

Well it's strange. I guess a glitch. As I was double-checking it a few times: via bios boot order menu and full bios settings - I had my Flash as number 1. After a few restarts it began starting Unraid as it had before  🤯 Lenovo...

writing flash device - please wait...
Archive: /tmp/unRAIDServer.zip
inflating: /boot/unRAIDServer/bzfirmware
plugin: run failed: '/bin/bash' returned 1
Executing hook script: post_plugin_checks

and nothing more, dockers aren't avaliable and the UI says:  Your flash drive is corrupted or offline. Post your diagnostics in the forum for help. See also here . but nobody touched the flash drive
