December 2, 20241 yr Hi I used the PIA-WIREGUARD application from community applications to create a wg0.conf file I checked the docker logs from PIA-WIREGUARD and it connected to PIA successfully. I used the wg0.conf file in Settings-VPN Manager and was able to setup VPN tunneled access for docker, I applied that and setup wireguard with PIA successfully. I followed the guide and added Firefox via docker, I made sure to set the Network Type: to be my new wg0. I then ran Firefox and checked whatismyipaddress.com and it showed I was in the country I had chosen as part of the wg0.conf setup. I also then added an additional parameter in advanced section in docker for Firefox and added the DNS entries that I got from the wg0.conf file the parameter was entered as follows the same as the guide: ---dns=1.2.3.4,2.3.4.5 (Made up DNS entries) I then followed the guide and within my Firefox session I checked dnsleaktest.com but it is showing my actual broadband provider, so DNS Leak protection is not working. I really dont know what else to try, if anyone had any advice that would be great Thanks Cormac
December 3, 20241 yr Community Expert pia wants issues reported like this on github: https://github.com/thrnz/docker-wireguard-pia/issues cant hep and assit due to factors. Not sure if this is a active project any more. Unraid partnered with tailscale I would recommend that for vpn stuff...
