December 19, 20241 yr Hello, I acquired this controller, based on the ASM1062 with 4 ports: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/dp/B07TD57RGZ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 I made a mistake (in my opinion, with 4 ports, it multiplies the SATA ports, but on this trial, only 2 disks are connected). Unfortunately, expanding the hard drives was not as easy as I imagined. Regardless of what I do, the drives do not show up. December 19, 20241 yr The controller is not being detected by Linux, this is not a software issue, try a different PCIe slot, but note that controller is not recommended because of the port multipliers, see here:
