unRAID v7 issues with Unassigned Devices plugin

Featured Replies

Hey there, I have a problem with my second Unraid Server. I have an Unraid Server 1 with V6.12.6

and Unraid Server 2 with v7rc2. both with the Plugin unassigned Devices

on server1 I have a smb mount that works without problems but I can't get it online on my server 2. it is a hetzner storage share so I can't use an ip address. I have triple checked the credentials and deleted the mount on server 1 to create the mount again and it works on this server.

i have google and cloud flare dns entry's on both server. I can ping the domain from storage share

anyone got an idea ?

Post Unraid diagnostics and UD disgnostics,.  Get UD diagnostics by entering 'ud_diagnostics" on a command line, then post the /flash/logs/ud_diagnostics.zip file here.

Also, go to the UD Settings and click on the "Remote Servers" tab and enter the server name or IP address and then the 'Test' button and post the output here.

Hi :)

I have made this on server 1 with following output:

Server 'XXXXXX-SUB3. YOUR-STORAGEBOX.DE' responds to a 'ping'
Testing SMB...
Remote server 'SMB' port 445 is open

and server 2:

Server 'XXXX-SUB3.YOUR-STORAGEBOX.DE' responds to a 'ping'
Testing SMB...
Server Name did not work - try 'XXXX-SUB3.YOUR-STORAGEBOX.DE.LOCAL'
** Remote Server is not online for SMB

sorry for this question but how can I get the zip file from the flash folder. I don't see it 😳

It's at '/flash/logs/ud_diagnostics.zip' with the date imbeded in the name.

Enter 'XXXX-SUB3.YOUR-STORAGEBOX.DE.LOCAL' for the server name on the 'Remote Servers' tab.  If that does not work, use the IP address.

Thanks, but I have solved it with rclone and webdav :)
