Decrease energy consumption

Featured Replies

Hallo everyone,

I want to decrease the energy consumption from my Unraid build.

Here is my setup:

Intel i5 13500T

Gigabyte H610I DDR4 Board

32GB Crucial RAM

Pico PSU

2x Seagate 16TB

1 SSD Cache Pool (1 NVME + 1 Sata SSD)

In BIOS I set ASPM to enabled, enabled all C-States, disabled Intel Turbo Boost, Audio Controller and LEDs.

I installed powertop, did autotune and can reach C10 state.

I also installed the cpu governor and set it to powersave.

Now in idle and spin down drives I reach about 26-32W.

I am quite happy with it, because it was 80W.

Is theresa chance to decrease it more?
