January 25, 20251 yr Hi All, I'm having some problems recently with my setup. Lately I've been getting lots of notifications regarding disk read errors "Array has 1 disk with read errors (sde)". Other symptons I've seen are a couple of write errors from various docker containers and sometimes the login page will just refresh itself when attempting to login with the correct credentials, it will only succeed if I hard restart the server. These disks are pretty old (sde has 86,929 power on hours), so I wouldn't be suprised if they have started to die, but could anyone with experience check through my diagnostics zip and confirm before I pull the trigger on new drives? Are all disks toast? tower-diagnostics-20250125-1059.zip
January 25, 20251 yr Community Expert The diagnostics look like they were taken just after a reboot. They might give more information if they were taken after you got some read errors so we can see what lead up to them. Worth mentioning that running the extended SMART test on a drive is a good indication of its health. If it passes that without errors then it is normally safe to continue using the drive whereas failing it is definite indication that it should be replaced.

January 25, 20251 yr Community Expert There is a lot of 'log' spam that makes it hard to look through. However the only read errors I found looks like it might have been connection related (on disk3). However that indication of a connection error did not seem to repeat so it might be a red herring.
