Featured Replies

I read through other posts on this forum regarding this issue, but could not resolve the issue. In unmenu i see an error near the top that reads:

"SAMBA is STOPPED, Shared drives will not be visible on the LAN."

When I type "testparm" these are the results i get:

Load smb config files from /etc/samba/smb.conf

rlimit_max: increasing rlimit_max (1024) to minimum Windows limit (16384)

Can't find include file /etc/samba/smb-names.conf

Can't find include file /boot/config/smb-extra.conf

Anyone have any thoughts as to what might be causing the problem?

I'm assuming that your using a version 5 beta. On the unRAD web GUI under the Settings tab click the SMB icon and set Enable SMB to Yes.

Yes, I am running the latest version of the beta. Enable SMB is already set to Yes. I also tried toggling it to No and then back to Yes, but the issue still persists. Thanks for the help! Any other thoughts?

Still having issues with this. Anyone have some other thoughts on how to resolve? Thanks!

Unless someone has a better idea: backup the flash, format, and reinstall.

Seems a bit extreme. Thanks for the help though.
