February 8, 20251 yr Hi everyone, I love using unraid, but for a few months I am having issues with the system and I cannot find the reason - so I appreciate any help in this regard. It all started a few month ago with segfault errors, similar to this: Feb 7 10:32:49 Server kernel: borgmatic[627007]: segfault at 1544d1ac0658 ip 00001544121d7da9 sp 00007ffd5da2fce0 error 4 in ld-musl-x86_64.so.1[1544121b5000+57000] likely on CPU 8 (core 4, socket 0) Ignoring those errors led to an unresponsive system. Usually a restart helped and resolved the issue. It worked for some time (days, weeks, even months). Now the problems started again. First I was having issues starting a docker stack (paperless-ngx) - this problem was magically resolved by re-creating the containers. Then a few containers crashed and could not start again and I received errors, e.g. for Immich similar to: Error response from daemon: error while creating mount source path '<some-folder>': mkdir <some-folder>: file exists So I restarted unraid as I did not know what to do. After restarting everything seemed fine until I realised that one of my pools (1TB ssd single-drive pool) for NVR recordings was unmountable due to a missing file system. As there was no critical data on this drive I reformatted it and setup the missing shares again. Now everything seems to work, but I know that this is not going to last for a long time. I have attached my diagnostics and hope someone has an idea on how to approach this issue. Thanks a lot in advance. server-diagnostics-20250208-1403.zip
February 9, 20251 yr Community Expert Those segfault errors and the zfs pool getting corrupt without an obvious reason may be the result of an underlying hardware issue, since you have multiple RAM sticks, try using the server with just one, if the same try with a different one, that will basically rule out bad RAM.
