February 20, 20251 yr having bought a Netapp ds4246 to handle my discs correctly. no more duct taping my drives in place i also got a LSI SAS2008 HBA At first everything seemed fine. all drives show up. but after some hours i began to get UDMA errors. and when i woke up this morning i se 2 drives disconnected. February 20, 20251 yr Looks more like a power/connection issue, would also recommend updating the firmware:

February 20, 20251 yr Disks are disabled, do you mean the CRC count is still increasing for those disks without them being used?
February 21, 20251 yr Author i found the problem. the cable form the shelf to my LSI was not snapped inn place only halfway. tnx for the help
