2 missing disk

Hi, i just had the same problem that this guy and i was able to solve it just by re asigning the disk on the devices page of the web application.

 

 

My question is; Why did i get 2 missing disk?  I shut the server off a few days ago and when i came back i got the missing disk. Any idea?

 

Do i need to run a parity check now?
