Server unreachable over network.

Featured Replies

Hi all im running unraid 7.0 and just lately if i transfer large files to it over the network it becomes unreachable via the network but if i plug a monitor in directly the server is still running.

The server downloads with qbittorent fine and plex works fine but if i try and send say a 10gb file over from my laptop the server drop the network.

i think it my onboard nic that is having a problem but am unshore.

here is my log if any one has a chance to take a look and help me.

thanks.

Not seeing anything relevant logged, do you know the time for when it last happened? Also post the diagnostics.

Here are diagnostics.

After some investigation iv found it must be SMB because i can upload as much as i like over ftp and its fine but SMB crashes the server after transferring some large files, after its crashed if i plug a monitor into the server i can still use terminal and ping the google server its fine but it dose not see anything on the network and nothing on the network can see the server.

I have to restart the server to fix it.

Just transferred a 2tb file over SMB and when it finished the server froze, it timed out when trying to login directly from the system.

After a little while it started acting normal.

Log shows an OOM error, retest with the docker service disabled.

Massive thank you i disabled the docker service and i no longer had the issue so i stared the docker service again and one by one started my containers and retested each time and was able to pinpoint the the offending container. again thank you so much.
