March 4, 20251 yr Well my server had a bad CPU/MB (2950 ThreadRipper) and possibly a bad NVME 2tb 860 EVO, Replaced the MB with ASUS Pro WS W680-ACE IPMI and I7 14700 and CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 RAM 192GB (4x48GB) 5200MHz CL38 Intel XMP (IPMI not installed yet). Not going to lie I'm lost in the Bios of this motherboard. But that is not the issue, if I use my original USB key it only boots into the Bios, use a different USB key with my backup restored it only boots into the Bios. If I download and create a fresh install Unraid on USB key it boots up to the trial screen with all hardware that is installed there. So now do I just start over or is there a possibility of saving some? About 80 TB with 60 TB used. What are the next steps?

March 4, 20251 yr Author Thank you for your direction, I was about to start over from square one. Do you think that the Intel raid "PCH"(sp) maybe interfering with the old startup? Can I/Should I do this with the original licensed usb key? Or is the license in the config folder?

March 4, 20251 yr Author Thanks again @JorgeB it is up and running. Now doing parity check, but because of missing data from the bad nvme I'm wondering if maybe I should try the backup appdata restore before a full 28 hours of parity checking.
March 5, 20251 yr Community Expert I assume the backup is in the array? You can restore now, just expect parity check to slow down, you can pause it.
