I would like to view my PCI deviced and found pciutils that has a lspci command that will output your pci devices in a readable form.  http://mj.ucw.cz/pciutils.shtml

I've downloaded the package and placed it on my flash drive but not being a real big linux guy I'm lost.  I tried make but the command wasn't found.

 

So what do I need to do to run lspci?

If you have downloaded it from here

 

http://packages.slackware.it/package.php?q=current/pciutils-2.2.10-i486-1

 

 

then do an

 

installpkg pciutils-2.2.10-i486-1.tar.gz

 

Then the program will be temporarily installed onto the ramdisk.

 

Thanks...I downloaded that version only change was its only .tgz at the end.

You may need to manually rename it with the mv (move) command.
