March 13, 20251 yr I know this topic exists a thousand times but I can't get it to work. When transferring from my Windows PC via LAN i get around 105 mb/s but via wifi only around 30mb/s (Macbook or Smartphone (wifi5) - it's never more than 30 mb/s) My NAS goes directly into my router (1 Gbit/s LAN Port). Also the same low speeds for small and for big files. I have read so many threads and forums by now... These are my changes: Settings -> SMB -> SMB Extra configuration : server min protocol = SMB3_11 aio read size = 4096 aio write size = 4096 strict locking = No use sendfile = No server multi channel support = Yes write cache size = 2097152 min receivefile size = 16384 getwd cache = true socket options = TCP_NODELAY IPTOS_THROUGHPUT SO_RCVBUF=131072 SO_SNDBUF=131072 And also here here: Flash device settings -> syslinux config -> global: net.ipv4.tcp_congestion_control=bbr net.core.default_qdisk=fq What else can I do to improve my wifi speeds? I mean if I download from the internet I can get speeds up to 60-80 mb/s via wifi. Why isn't that possible in my intranet? Edited March 13, 20251 yr by skrippi
March 13, 20251 yr Author EDIT: Seems like this is only happening to WIFI but I wonder why the hell can I download file from the Internet with 80 mb/s via wifi but my home network is only 30 mb/s via wifi and smb?
