April 7, 20251 yr Hey guys, I had my Plex server on an SSD that was in the array but I learned that it is not a good thing so I created a Pool and redirected all the dockers to that pool. 1. What do I do now to delete the empty hdd space without reconstructing the array because there was nothing there that I want to be kept on the array? 2. Is it ok to run Plex from that pool? I don't really understand if now it is a cache drive. Edited April 7, 20251 yr by MosteanuV
April 8, 20251 yr To remove a drive, see here (even if 6 is already removed, it doesn't change the steps) You have two pools, one called Cache and one called Pics (and the array). If you are running Unraid 7, you can use the mover things from one pool to another so the name doesn't matter. It's fine to have apps run anywhere too, but make sure to enable trim on the drive-settings and in the general settings if that hasn't been done.
