MAC folders and files auto-created in User Share

Featured Replies

Not sure if this is supposed to happen.  Had two mac folders 'auto create' in the User shares.  Folders are:

Network Trash Folder

Temporary Items

The both have SMB Export enabled (public).

Both appear to have been created  in /mnt/user/ along with a number of other .Apple folders (.AppleDB, .AppleDesktop, .Apple Double).

I have already run the trick on my Mac to defeat the writing of DS files on a network drive as well as having installed the DS_Store and ._ file cleanup script, but I still have a lot of the files/directory hang in around.

Any thoughts in the behavior and how to clean this all up?

Thanks,

SH

Something to do with setting TM or AFP to use a disk share maybe?

Something created those directories on a disk and any top level directories on a disk are automatically added as user shares.
