Unraid Docker image disappeared / Jellyfin Setup

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've had this happen to me previously and unfortunately managed to trigger the same issue again.. I'm running Jellyfin in a Docker container on Unraid and made a change to the config through the standard GUI and hit done to recreate the container. However, I must have made a syntax error and following this the container errored and I lost sight of the container in the Unraid UI. I think it is now showing as an orphaned image.

When this happened the last time I ended up having to set Jellyfin back up again from scratch. Does anyone know if it's possible to recover this previous setup and why did it disappear rather than reverted to a stopped status?

I've also tried to recreate the Docker container and pointed the config to the previous appdata folder however this new instance will not fully start and gets stuck at an error "Kestrel failed to start." I've checked the network.xml file and it looks OK. Any thoughts on this from an Unraid perspective? It seems like it is a quirk of the Unraid system.

Any help much appreciated! I'm looking at a migration script but hopefully it won't come to that.

Thanks

Apps, Previous Apps.  It'll show up in there with the last set of values and you can adjust.  FWIW, this is technically the correct behaviour as the container isn't installed any more (the docker run command would've said what the actual issue was)
