May 27, 20251 yr Dear community,I hope I've come to the right place.I use unraid 7.1.2I am an absolute beginner and need your help because I have a problem and can't quite put my finger on it. Or I have not understood something fundamental.I don't want anyone in my network who knows or has found out the IP of my unraid server and the port of various services to be able to access these services without further ado.For example:User Utilities unbalanced: http://192.168.3.150:7090Docker container luckyBackup: http://192.168.3.150:8080Anyone who is in my network and knows the above URLs can access and manipulate the programs. How can I secure the programs with a password? The webUI of duplicati (installed as docker), for example, has a password protection.I ask for your help and hope we can find a solution!Thank you very much!Best regardsSebastian Edited May 27, 20251 yr by desindwir
May 27, 20251 yr Community Expert This is probably unraid's single biggest drawback. You're better off not giving access to the network to people who you don't trust to get access to unraid's services. Edited May 27, 20251 yr by MowMdown

Youre asking the equivalent of preventing people in your apartment/house of using the light switches. You could prevent them with encasing every light switch in a metal box (you can use iptables to achieve what you want/ also in combination with a reverse proxy that has some basic auth for example). Although its just easier not let them in your network to begin with Edited May 27, 20251 yr by Mainfrezzer Added some info about reverse proxies
