Unable to access web GUI via IPv4 and local host in GUI mode

Featured Replies

Some days ago suddenly I lost the connection to my Unraid server via the web GUI.

I switched the usb flash drive and installed a back up onto it. Same result. When I load a fresh version of unraid it is working fine. However, I don't want to lose all my config. I have attached the diagnostic file.

Also if I start into the GUI mode I can not access the web GUI via the local host. However, I can access the internet from it. So the connection seems to be there. I also can ping the IPv4 from within the network.

It would highly appreciate any recommendations.

Looks like there are many files missing from the ‘config’ folder on the flash drive so much of your config is missing. In particular the ‘go’ file that starts the GUI is missing. You can restore the default one from a zip download of the Unraid release.

I downloaded the latest releas, and copied the content on my back-up. I skipped all the existing files and the issue is gone.

I believe my flash drive got corrupted and therefore most of the files were missing in the back-up.

Never the less. Thank you very much
