This plugin provides a GUI to the MirrorShuttle command-line program.

MirrorShuttle helps to achieve a very specific security and anti-ransomware oriented workflow for your media server.

The idea is to have most of your precious files in user shares that are not publicly writeable, while new content arrives elsewhere.

The tool helps mirror the folder structure of these read-only shares into your incoming area, so you can organise files within that mirror structure.

MirrorShuttle then moves new content from that structure, to the pre-planned locations in the read-only shares, without opening these shares to writes.

This lets you access your precious media from untrusted clients (Windows), without having to constantly worry about everything going up in flames.

The workflow is primarily oriented at locations that are not frequently changing, and where content is usually only ever added, this chart visualises that:

I have been using this exact workflow on my servers for years, previously using a bunch of unreliable scripts, but with great success.
