can't get Dynamix System Temperature working, No driver found!

Featured Replies

Hello dear Unraid community.

I've the AOOSTAR WTR PRO AMD Ryzen 7 5825u 4 Bay Nas Mini PC 16GB RAM.
I spent days in google, Unraid Community, Github, also with DeepSeek & Chat-GPT trying to find a way to get that plugin works to monitor at least the disks temperature to set the Disks threshold while writing Parity and to also Monitor My NVME Cach Drive.

Unfortunately no success.

I kindly ask for your help.

You can add your sensors into the drivers.conf file and that should make them appear in the plugin settings (might need to stop / start the array).

In a terminal window type:

touch /boot/config/plugins/dynamix.system.temp/drivers.conf

and after that

nano /boot/config/plugins/dynamix.system.temp/drivers.conf

add the following lines:

it8613

k10temp

nvme

press ctrl + o followed by enter  followed by ctrl + x to write your changes and exit.

Hola amigo! Saludos

Thank you for this! You are the man. Unfortunately no mainboard sensors show up... but cpu temp is good enough.

Utilicé el traductor de Google, perdone cualquier malentendido sobre sus preguntas.

The device has been good enough for me. I'm only here because temperatures weren't available at first, you'll run into a lot of little things like that because it is made with lesser known Chinese hardware. I have enjoyed it and have not had any significant problems. I use jellyfin, not plex, so my experience won't be exactly the same as yours if you use plex. AMD processors do not transcode very well, so that will be your biggest limitation. You might want to find an Intel based machine, or one that can take a small NVidia GPU if transcoding is that important to you. Outside of transcoding though, this is the perfect pre-built NAS for me. I have 32gb of ram, and have barely ever gone past 30% use age. Unless you're running heavy containers, you're probably fine with 16gb.

Thank you for your help. I have ordered the MAX model. There are people who say it works well with plex. I hope there are no problems

I've got the WTR Max and have followed similar steps, but still see no temperature.

Any differences for the Max vs the other ones? Thanks!

Cheers man, I’m getting WTR MAX tomorrow and getting ready to move from my intel machine. If you find any other nice tips and tricks for unraid on this machine please do not hesitate to share!

how are you have 3 array fans when there are two? unless this is the one in the bottom of the case? that one in bios reports 0rpm to me but it’s working… weird

There are two at the back and one underneath!

I know but there are 4 in total. One of them doesn't seem to be visible
