4.9.1 Update issue

Featured Replies

I updated to the latest version (4.9.1), and it breaks my UI. It shows two Unraid logos. I can't click on most of my menu buttons. The only way to fix it is to uninstall the plugin.

Hi - sorry you’re having issues.

What version of Unraid OS are you using? This will help us attempt to recreate the issue.

Thanks!

I also see this in the console.

API log.

{"errors":[{"error":{"name":"InternalError","message":"Graphql is offline."}}]}

In an Unraid terminal try

unraid-api start

Should at the least sort out the api / Graphql offline errors.

Additionally, please upload diagnostics so we can attempt to see why the API automatically went offline / wasn’t started correctly.

Getting this same exact error when I do unraid-api start or unraid-api restart from cli. Just updated to 4.9.1 a few moments ago.

If you’re able to, upload diagnostics. Since the double logo might be blocking the link to Tools in the webGUI, manually navigate to /Tools/Diagnostics. The diags will include api logs that might include some more details for us to better understand what’s happening.

Another thing to point out in my instance, I have no logo present and when I click on the menu at the top right it does nothing.

Noted.

Thanks for uploading. We’ll get back to you.

We've published a hotfix to fix this issue! Thank you for reporting this.

4.9.2 was still doing the same thing after installing it. I SSH in and did unraid-api start and that fixed the UI issue. I've attached a screenshot of when it broke, if it helps.

We'll issue one more hotfix to solve this and the flash backup issue today. Sorry about the repeated releases.

  • Solution

Just updated to 4.9.4. Had to do an 'unraid-api start' to get it going after updating, but once it completely started up I seem to have no more issues. Thanks all for the fix! The only issue I am seeing now are intermittent 503 errors reported by the plugin in the UI. They do come and go, but it has been mostly stable and my flash backup does complete.
