July 10, 2025Jul 10 So this is, likely not directly and unraid issue since my phone can see the server just fine but thought I would ask for any ideas here because its driving me crazy. I was just in radarr doing some cleaning of stuck downloads and then my PC just stopped being able to see the server. When trying to go to it on my local network it just ive me a "This site can’t be reached" message. I have tried chrome, firefox, brave and edge all of the same problem. Restarted server and PC, even did a restore on my PC in case something happened that I didn't know. I flushed DNS, refreshed etc, changed DNS to a static google DNS and even restored all network adapters to default, but still no luck. If I go on my phone, which is connected to the same exact network, it loads up just fine and no issues there. My mapped network drives also wont load so its a full PC issue. I am honestly not sure what to try now and its driving me crazy. Nothing has changed on my server or PC in the last couple days, especially not from when everything was working to two seconds later when it wasnt. Also forgot to mention it at first but pining my server ip comes back just fine, I also tested it on my GFs computer and webUI pulls up there just fine so its just my computer Edited July 10, 2025Jul 10 by GleasonRyan
July 10, 2025Jul 10 Community Expert Connect a monitor and keyboard to the server. If there is a login prompt, login using your normal Unraid GUI user name and password. Then at the command line prompt, typediagnosticsShut the server down by a quick push of the power button. (If it fails to shut push it for more then five seconds.Pull the flash drive. See here if you need more info: https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/troubleshooting/diagnostics-information/Upload the file in your NEXT post.

July 10, 2025Jul 10 Community Expert Things look normal on the Unraid side. Have a look at your Firewall and Security settings on the PC. Which one are you using? Is it posting up any issues? Did you try turning it off and testing? Also check that your Network type is Private. See Here:https://forums.unraid.net/topic/191221-some-musings-on-smb-and-samba-and-unraid-and-windows/#findComment-1561581I assume that you have normal WAN (Internet) connectivity. You probably need to describe your PC. I assume that you are running Windows. But what are the detail? Example: Windows 11 PRO, 24H2. Is it an Employer-provided PC? As you can tell, this is not the type of problem that we hear about so I am not quite sure what assistance we can provide. Google may be your friend in this case.

Internet on the computer works perfectly otherwise.Windows 11 Pro, fully updated, has been working with the server including a network attached share for 2+ years with out issue.
July 10, 2025Jul 10 Community Expert Do you have access to the server files using Windows File Explorer/(manager)? IF you need some help in doing this, see here:https://forums.unraid.net/topic/191221-some-musings-on-smb-and-samba-and-unraid-and-windows/#findComment-1561585Note that you should try both the server's name and its IP address. (There have been times when only one of them will work and others when both do! Reason completely unknown...)

The mapped network drive that Ive had set up no longer works and trying to set up a new mapped drive or network share isnt possible because the computer cant see the server at all, with IP or servername. Its like as far as my computer is considered its the only computer on the network
July 10, 2025Jul 10 Community Expert It could be that it (somehow) has become configured to behave as if it was. That is one of the purposes of the 'Public' network type setting that Windows has. To allow a Windows computer to use a Public network (McDonald's, Airports, coffee shops, etc) with as much protection as possible in a potentially hostile environment. Check to see what these settings are in Control Panel (You can get to it from Settings but it has even more steps than this approach):

July 10, 2025Jul 10 Community Expert Sorry but I am stumped. You might want to carefully look at everything in Windows Security to make sure that something is not blocking your server.
July 10, 2025Jul 10 Author So I had also posted this on reddit and a user there mentioned pulling up Unraid Connect, so I did that. Clicked one of the links under server management, failed the first time, but then the second time it worked. Now everything works like it was previously and was even able to re-connect my network drive. I have no clue what the hell was going on but it seems solved for now.

If not post up your experience and see if they have any suggestions.
