High CPU Temps but low usage

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,
It's like the third time this is happening. My Unraid server shows 100 celcius on CPU which is the point where it thermal throttles but the usage is around 5-10%. I don't get any visual lag in the webui or while accessing the shares. If i restart the server it goes back down to 30C-40C. I've tried changing the power mode to power efficiency, stopping dockers but nothing. I believe this started some time after updating to 7 and later.
I will change the CPU cooler for sure but i believe this is like a stuck process which i can't figure out.
I'm attaching the diagnostics if someone can help me out here.

Duplicati was using 100% CPU

That's probably referring to one core right? Because i've been paying attention at the web ui and netdata and when duplicati runs a backup for some time one core goes to 100% but at total CPU usage on an i5-14500 goes around 30%. The temps are at max even after the backup finishes and the core usage goes back down.

Yes, but that should be enough to raise the temps.
