September 1, 2025Sep 1 Hoping for some advice. The USB boot drive had went to read-only mode and i missed this. I added a new disk a while ago, and it already has some data i would prefer not to lose. The data and parity should be fine as a parity check was completed a while ago. Problem is after fixing the boot drive its now outdated by about a month and does not remember the new configuration. I did not mount the new disk again or rebuild parity and shut down the system. Is it possible to manually add the drive to the array without formatting it? I would appreciate any help or advice. Edited September 1, 2025Sep 1 by rapt Formatting
