I've been troubleshooting this odd problem on my Server. If I stop a docker container do whatever i need to get done then restart the docker container it's like it crashs the service. If I try to stop and restart the service it just stays stopped. If I stop the arrary then start it nothing. So stuff I've done so far to think it was fixed. re do docker from stratch delete the .img and redo it. That didn't fix it. Next backup my config directory from the flash drive and redo it by useing the USB creator tool it downloaded everything of from the web I restored the config directory and restarted the Server, tested stopping a docker container and restarting it. "CRASH"!!! Only way to get the service back is too restart the box..

Not to mention I new CPU and motherboard have been switched out still doing that after too...

Some workarounds discussed there, mostly disable NFS if not needed or you can change everything to SMB, can also be caused by Tdarr if you use that.

I tested the setting changes and this morning it crashed again. Is there anything else that can be causing it? I just created a diag file from today not sure it will show much difference. I do know on version 6.12.x I was not getting this problem. Also this is a proction box so huge amounts of downtime are not wanted.

Like mentioned, NFS is typically the main culprit, possibly when used with the mover, so if you can use SMB only, it should help. Also, any other app that moves/renames files from user shares would be the best way to try and avoid that. This issue only affects a few users with specific use cases. I, for example, have never been able to replicate it, and I spent hours trying to.

Ok NFS disabled 100% nothing is ising it ATM. I enabled SMB mounts and are testing too soon to tell but so far no docker crash. I'll keep you posted on this.

After all the updates it crashed again even with NFS disabled. I'm not sure why it keeps crashing doesn't make sense. Updated diag file after the last crash.

I don't see shfs crashing in the last diags. Were they saved before rebooting?

I don’t think so if it was were Is it located ?

You need to save the diags after it happens but before rebooting.
