I never setup a cache drive since my server is mostly for off site storage and plex streaming so write operations are low. After upgrading to 7 multiple shares now think a cache drive that never existed is missing.

Would it be better to make an old 2TD HD a cache and use that or just change them to primary storage array, which is how it was prior to the upgrade?

Set the affected shares to array as primary, or the correct pool, and click apply.

Thanks JorgeB wasn't sure if that or old drive cache better will do.
