Hi,

at the moment my unRaid-server is connected to the core-switch using its 1GBit/s-LAN-Port (mainboard: Fujitsu D-3644B).

Now, I want to upgrade to 2.5GBit/s using an USB3-Adapter I already bought.

In my router settings I configured a statix/fixed IP for the current LAN-connection eth0. For the most convenient upgrade the new USB3-adapter shall get the static IP address of the current LAN. Before connecting it the first time to my network, I would deactivate the current LAN-Port within the maniboardˋs BIOS.

How does unRaid react ? How should I exchange the LAN-port connection to the new adapter, so the new will be called eth0 and work as the old before ?
