  1. Is there an advantage or disadvantage switching from ipvlan to macvlan or the other way around ? Will there be anything else I have ro change after switching ? As far as I understand, I have to switch. Using a script would be my last option. Ubiquiti is investigating this issue.
  2. I tried to find that option… please tell me how and where to switch from ipvlan to macvlan. And, are there any concerns switching from one to the other ?
  3. Attached the support file… unraid-diagnostics-20251109-1734.zip
  4. My network system called Unifi identifies clients automatically. Sometimes it is non-sense. And, is has nothing to do with bridging/bonding for docker containers? And, mcvlan or ipvlan ? Looks like this …
  5. Hello, a few weeks ago I deactivated the LAN-Port (1GBit/s) of my server within the BIOS. On the same day I switched to an external USB-Ethernet-Adapter (2.5G). I assigned the old IP-address to the new adapter after. Now, some weeks later, my router told me there are 2 clients using the same IP-address, both of them online - the new and the previous devices. But, there is no cable connected to the old (and deactivated) LAN-port. Is there an explanation & a workaround for this ?
  6. Bei mir steht „version not available“. Wo trage ich denn die obige Repo docker.io/apache/tika:latest ein, sodass sich der Tika-Docker wieder updated ? Muss ich Tika dann erneut konfigurieren oder übernimmt er alles, also Port etc, sodass alles wie zuvor mit paperless weiterläuft ?
  7. But, I think then unRaid is starting with BIOS-time (-2 hours) and does sync it via ntp after some time. Should be confusing to some backup solutions like time machine.
  8. This is confusing. I do not understand, why the BIOS time is set -2 hours after some time despite configured correctly by me manually. To me, it looks like unRaid is changing the time. Is there any solution for both cloks, BIOS and unRaid, to run in sync ? Do I have to make some changes using the terminal ?
  9. I do not understand your reply in some parts, but do you know if my setings (for germany) are correct ? At the momemt I do mot know why unRaid is changing time -2 hours, not right after booting up, but at some point later.
  10. Hi there, I configured the BIOS of the serverˋs mainboard to start at 8 a-m. Using the dynamix sleep plugin, unRaid will shutdown at 11 p.m. But, there is a problem with the time. After tellijg the BIOS the exact time, all is working as intended. unRaid is showing the correct time. While the day this is changing. Anything sets back the time for exactly 2 hours. Why is unRaid changing the time for -2 hours within the day ? Is this a problem with the ntp server(s) ?
  11. Could you tell me where to find the shut down script?
  12. Hi there, I was looking for a solution to turn off my UNRAID-server at midnight and starting it automatically in the morning. The BIOS is able to start the server at e. g. 8 a.m. After installing the Dynamix S3 plugin I was hoping it could shut down the server at 11 p.m. But, turns out, the plugin just offers the possibility to listen to a WOL-packet. Now, I am looking for a way to shut down the server at 11 p.m. at some days, so the BIOS starts it again the next morning. Could you tell me how to shut down the server mo-fr 11 p.m. automatically the easy way ?
  13. Hi, at the moment my unRaid-server is connected to the core-switch using its 1GBit/s-LAN-Port (mainboard: Fujitsu D-3644B). Now, I want to upgrade to 2.5GBit/s using an USB3-Adapter I already bought. In my router settings I configured a statix/fixed IP for the current LAN-connection eth0. For the most convenient upgrade the new USB3-adapter shall get the static IP address of the current LAN. Before connecting it the first time to my network, I would deactivate the current LAN-Port within the maniboardˋs BIOS. How does unRaid react ? How should I exchange the LAN-port connection to the new adapter, so the new will be called eth0 and work as the old before ?
  14. Hi, for reaching more energy efficient & less noisy fans I installed plugins like "Dynamix Auto Fan Control" and "Fanctrl Plus". But, both of them do not recognize the PWM controller of my Mainboard Fujitsu D-3644B1. While googling I found this thread. Executing "ls /sys/bus/i2c/devices/*/hwmon/hwmon*/fan1_input" did not work, cause it is not installed. I did not fully understand how to install this. And, after installing I2C I'd have to identify the fan`s IDs. Then I have to execute the script. Could someone tell me how to install I2C, identify the fan IDs (I would post a screenshot) and execute the script on startup, please ?
