Quality of SFF cables for HBA - how fragile are they?

Any recommendations for quality SFF cables for an HBA? I've purchased from Amazon previously when I was running 2x Dell 310 (8x internal) hba's and never had an issue with cables. I'm now running a 9300-16i (all my hba's have been purchase from Art of Server).

The mini-SAS to SATA cables that I have seem to all be of similar quality, but I've recently gone thru 2 replacements trying to clear up UDMA-CRC errors. I finally got the errors to stop, but it made me wonder if anyone has any feedback on what makes a good cable or advice on how to treat them/route them to avoid causing damage.
