Unable to connect to network after hardware swap

Featured Replies

I recently upgraded my mobo, CPU, and RAM in my Unraid build. After the swap, I'm not able to connect to the server over the network. If I boot in GUI mode, and go to Settings > Network Settings, I can see that there is no network device detected (I do see that "device eth0 does not exist" flashes by when the server is starting). The Interface Link says "Unknown (not present)". Diagnostics file is attached.

I have tried renaming the network.cfg file on the flash drive to force it to regenerate. No luck.

Stock kernel driver doesn't support that NIC:

Oct 20 06:24:46 Helicopter kernel: r8169 0000:84:00.0: error -ENODEV: unknown chip XID 688, contact r8169 maintainers (see MAINTAINERS file)

Realtek driver plugin may help.

thank you so much! I installed one of the Realtek plugins, and the network interface came right up (as far as I can tell).
