Tailscale plugin hangs my network in docker containers

Featured Replies

After some days i get to a point where i can see that my dockers does not have network access anymore.

It took a long time to find out that tailscale plugin was the issue. it seems to lock the network component of the dockers, so the dockers netwroik processes does not work, e.g it seems like they are offline.

when i try to enter tailscale settings in unraid, the settings page cannot open, and it locks the whole unraid webserver thread, so I can only unlock it by killing the tailscale process.

I then need to stop docker and start it to get networking in docker work again.

I think the problem might be that when Tailscale is active on Unraid, it injects its own network interface (tailscale0) and adjusts routing and DNS (via tailscaled).

unraid 7.1
