Moving data between pool drives

Featured Replies

Hi All

Apologies if the answer to this is obvious - I'm not sure if there's a 'correct' way to do this.

Currently on my server I have two pool drives - one has the 'standard' folders on there - system data and appdata - but I have a second pool drive which has the domains share on it, with an active VM.

I'd like to move the domain share from the second pool drive to the first (including the VM), so I can remove the 2nd drive. Is that possible? If so, is it just a case of copying the existing data, then changing the share location? Or is it more complex than that?

Sorry if I've not explained this very well.

TIA

Si
