Unassigned devices app question....

New to UnRaid and I hope this isn't a silly question. Tried searching, but didn't see this particular question answered.

I've Installed a sata HDD into the server with data I want to copy to the array. I also installed the "Unassigned devices" app and am now using it to copy all the files over.

I logged into the server via chrome on Windows 10 to start this process. If I close the browser window that's showing my unraid and the file copy progress or the PC restarts or shuts down, will that stop the file copying task? Or will that continue on the server, even with no one logged in and active?

Second question, When I started this I didn't see an option to "copy to array", only individual disks. I'm guess this isn't a big deal, but for future reference, how do I select the entire array so that the data is spread correctly?

thank you.

If you are using the FIle Manager yes, you can use rsync or another tool with the T-Mux plugin, that will keep going.

Copy to a user share that is set to allocate to the array
