Cache Pool not completely empty

Featured Replies

I'm working on replacing a couple of the drives in an ssd pool. The replacements are slightly smaller (500GB vs 512GB) so I believe I will need to delete the pool and create a new one. In advance of that I've changed every share's primary storage to the array and manually invoked the mover. The pool is now almost empty but it still shows about 800MB used. How to I completely empty the pool so I can replace it without issue?

Mover is not showing any files left to be moved, but note that any files on root will not be moved. You can use the File Manager to browse the pool to confirm if there are still any files there.

There were no files on root but I did find one folder that was still there. I moved it manually. Now file manager shows literally nothing but the pool still shows 323MB used. Should I just ignore that and go ahead and wipe it?

It can still show something used without any data, as long as there's nothing there, it's fine.

I'm sure there's a good reason for it to show used space with no data but I can't imagine what it is. Anyway thanks for your help!
