7.3.0 Replaced boot disk on mirrored boot pool

Featured Replies

Not sure what happened there, but you should be able to fix the pool by opening a terminal window and typing:

zpool detach flash 9144051294089628447

I had the same issue when I added a member to the boot pool to create a mirror. There was a flash2 phantom pool that didn't show up in zpool list. I rebooted and it cleared itself.

Same happened for me also after adding second since to the boot pool, also reboot cleared it here

There's a known issue where sometimes you see "errors" for the boot pool after replacing a device; in these cases just restarting the array (or rebooting) will fix it.
