Hello fellow Unraid users. Having some issues with my R630 server. I had the chassis running Unraid in the house, and moved the blade to my garage rack (keeps the Mrs happier). Now when I try and boot up the array, it freezes and becomes unreachable. I have to shut down the server and restart via iDRAC to get things going again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I can start the array in maintenance mode. The second I mount the disks, it freezes.

See if you get the syslog after it hangs

cp /var/log/syslog /boot/syslog.txt

Then attach here, or enable the syslog server and post that.

Storage is mounting correctly. I then see containers starting, if that covers a crash, disable the Docker service and see if it still crashes, and post a new syslog if it does.

Thank you!!! Disabling Docker got it to go online and not freeze up.

How do I get docker to come online now? Posting syslog just in case.

If the containers are not set to autostart, you can start the service and then start them one by one. If they are, you would need to remove that first, don't remember how it's done, but searching the forum should have some results.

Worst case, recreate the Docker image and restore the apps one by one.

So I backed up the image and renamed it. Then deleted the vdisk for Docker and rebuilt. Still getting hung up when trying to bring it online.

I forgot to delete the appdata info for the containers. As soon as that was done, it all started back up. Thank you!
