July 24Jul 24 Hi All,I ran into an issue where when swapping my SIM card on the phone, some how this corrupted the SD card where all the files in the DCIM folder got nuked, and it seemed to have moved it in a corrupt way into the lost.dir on the card.Is there an app that can scan the card and possible recover images / videos?Screenshot of below of what happened. After the SIM swap the DCIM folder just worked as normal...but all the files in the folder before the SIM swap are gone.Thoughts?
August 2Aug 2 Don't do anything to the card like adding or removing files. Use a recovery program like Norton Utilities. This hasn't happened to me in a long time so I can't really help much but Norton was my go-to recovery application.If/when you get this fixed, I recommened using syncthing on your phone and server. I use it right now for all my devices. You would set it up to sync that DCIM folder so if the phone dies then you still have your files on the server.
