Duplicati Backup 'Error'

Hi guys

I hope this is OK to post under the general support section, but I couldn't find anywhere (active) which might have been better.

I have been running a Duplicati docker for some months now, which seems to be exactly what I have been after for ages.

In short, I backup from some local shares to an 8Tb USB disk and initially it worked fine.

Then one day it started reporting errors on one of my backups - but as far as I can tell the backup is actually working fine. I tried restoring a backup from a file from last nights backup and it restored perfectly. I have tried this before and decided not to worry about the error... but today thought it really should be looked at.

Anyway the error log shows;

2026-08-16 03:28:42 +01 - [Error-Duplicati.Library.Main.Operation.TestHandler-Test results]: Verified 98 remote files with 1 problem(s)

This error message is the same every day, except the number seems to go up and down, but looking over the error log for the past week it has fluctuated between 94 and 98 files. I don't really know what this message means and have struggled to find any information.

I haven't attached my diags as this is not an UnRAID error... but if any more info would help please let me know.

I am wondering whether I should delete this backup set and recreate so it can start from the beginning again - although this would mean I lose 28 versions :( - but to be honest this wouldn't be the end of the world!
