October 26Oct 26 I wanted the WebUI link on my containers to open the Nginx Proxy Manager domain instead of http://IP:PORT, but still keep the direct address for when the proxy is down. So I wrote a small plugin for it.With WebUI Links installed, clicking WebUI on a container opens its proxy domain (for example https://immich.home.example.com). A second menu entry, "WebUI (IP:port)", opens the direct address as before. How it worksIt reads Nginx Proxy Manager's proxy host files (read only) and matches each proxy host to a container by the IP and port it forwards to.It works on the Docker page, including FolderView3 folders that use the standard menu, and on the Dashboard.Your containers aren't touched: no template edits, no restarts. Uninstall it and you get the stock menu back.New proxy hosts show up the next time the page loads.RequirementsUnraid 6.12 or later. I built and tested it on 7.3.4.Nginx Proxy Manager running as a container on the same server. It looks in /mnt/user/appdata/Nginx-Proxy-Manager-Official/data/nginx/proxy_host by default; change that in the settings if your NPM appdata is elsewhere. The proxy host has to forward to the same IP and port the container's WebUI uses, which is usually your server's IP and the container's host port. Proxy hosts that point at a container name or a Docker bridge IP won't match.Settings are under Settings → User Utilities → WebUI Links. You can turn it off, point it at a different NPM folder, and change the label of the second entry ({address} becomes the IP:port). The page also lists every proxy host it found and the domain each address will open.LimitationsNginx Proxy Manager only for now. No SWAG, Traefik or Caddy. If a proxy host has several domains, it uses the first one.It hooks into Unraid's standard container menu. If a future Unraid release changes that menu, the links stop being swapped and you get the stock menu until I update the plugin.I've submitted it to Community Applications, so it should show up there once it's reviewed. Until then, go to Plugins → Install Plugin and paste:https://raw.githubusercontent.com/theovencook/unraid-webui-links/main/plugin/webui-links.plgThe source is on GitHub under the MIT licence: https://github.com/theovencook/unraid-webui-links. Bug reports and pull requests are welcome there or here.If something doesn't work, please post your Unraid version, the container name, the address its WebUI normally opens, and the matching row from the WebUI Links settings page (or say if there isn't one)..
