I upgraded from 4.7 to 5.0-rc6 and keep getting stack traces / crashes. I have attached a picture. At this point the server completely dies and have to restart it using the power button.

These traces do not appear in the syslog.

 

 

Any ideas what these traces mean?

I removed all the addons (unmenu, simpleFeatures). Now after running for about 2 hours reiserfsck on my disks (8 instances) I've got another stack trace logged in the syslog without crashing.

Norco RPC-4224

ECS A885GM-A2 V1.1

2 x Supermicro AOC-SASLP-MV8

2 x Silicon Image chipset cards

 

Any ideas about the errors?

The syslog shows that add-ons are running. See my sig for instructions to disable all add-ons.

I will remove the one add-on and post back.

 

It looks fine now. I will try to install fresh the unmenu, and see how it goes.

 

Where does one acquire a copy of rc6?

I thought the latest release was rc5.
