Wody Posted July 27, 2012 Share Posted July 27, 2012 Your drive will be cleared by unraid, or better, pre-cleared through the pre-clear script by yourself. That means it will be empty, and so won't affect the parity-calculations. That means that no, it wouldn't cause the parity to be regenerated.
