August 20, 201213 yr Hi there, my box was stuck at "Starting..." with an amber coloured ball beside it, I tried to fix it by rebooting and plugging and unplugging drives, now it still says "Starting..." with an amber ball, plus now one disk is stuck at resizing, and another disk says "Not Installed", when I go to the server using http://servername:8080 it shows the drive that is reszing to be okay, but the "not installed one" has "DISK_DSBL_NP" in red font, can anyone help me bring this thing back on line? thank you

August 20, 201213 yr Author I'm currenty using 5.0-RC3, my syslog.txt is attached, also the smart report of the failed drives, any help would be appreciated syslog.txt smart_sdg.txt smart_sdg1.txt smart_sdh.txt

August 20, 201213 yr Author okay I took it out and I have a spare 2 TB that I have that I will use in it place, but since it was dead anyways i added it to my windows machine and installed DiskInternals Linux Reader, I can still see the contents, and I'm currently backing it up, doesnt that mean that the drive is not dead?

Well,that then indicates a possible issue with the disk controller,or cables, or drive tray in your unRAID server.
August 20, 201213 yr Author the cable was replaced, there is no tray, there is no 3rd party controller I'm connecting directly to the motherboard, I'll try a different port
