mikechy
I added some drives to the array that I pre-cleared but foolishly did not check for HPA. As soon as they formatted I saw that they were HPA and just needed confirmation on my method of fixing. My plan is to: 1) Take array offline and power down server 2) remove one of the HPA drives and remove the HPA and RE pre-clear it again. 3) Add drive back to machine 4) Add it back to array and allow it to re-build parity as it SHOULD recognize a larger drive being added 5) Repeat with each HPA drive until finished. Is this the best way to fix this idiotic move of mine? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
