Help! I purchased the pro version of the  Unraid OS. Later, I checked my email from the web and downloaded the attachment. It was named: email.attachment.phd. I thought that was a strange name for a registration key but copied it to the config folder as instructed and rebooted. No luck!

Next I downloaded my email with Outlook Express and tried to save the attachment to my desktop and got the following message: “Outlook express removed access to the following unsafe attachment in your mail:  Pro1.key “

At this point I renamed the original download (email.attachment.phd) to Pro1.key and copied this to the config folder. After rebooting the management utility still shows the OS as being unregistered. Any ideas?

Note: I was using my wife's computer and she had her security level set high. That was the reason for the rejection of the attachment.

Set the security to low and outlook should let you have access to the attachment.  Once you have it the Pro1.key file, you can set security back to high.

Figured I'd bump this thread.

I purchased the Plus license earlier this evening, but I assume it's not automated to send me the file? I'll have to wait until at least tomorrow to receive the license?

Thanks.

Generation and emailing of the licence key is a manual exercise.  Usually it's handled very promptly, but there are times and circumstances where it may take a little longer.  Just be patient - I'm sure that it will arrive soon.
