January 3, 201313 yr When copying a large number of large files (300x5TB) to the unRAID server on several occasions the following happened: Copy fails Unable to access share over network Can still access drives over network When using the web interface it fails to browse the share When stopping and starting the array the share vanishes, can still access the individual drives Rebooting the system solves the problem, share is back and accessable I'm done copying files so it's not happened again. Is this a known issue? Is there any more info you would like me to provide?
January 3, 201313 yr Before anyone can provide much help, you will have to provide more information. I am assuming that you are running Ver5rc8a. 1--- What operating system are you using to initial the copy. 2--- What program are you using to do the actual copy. 3--- List the exact hardware that you are using to run unRAID. 4--- List all application that you have installed on your unRAID system 5--- Attach a syslog after the failure occurs.
