Hi All,

 

I've been lurking here for some time and now wish to build my first unRAID server.  I'm looking at a low cost starter system and leaning towards ASRock H61M-DGS with 4 sata2, 8111C nic, 1 - PCIe x16 and 1 - PCIe x1 (link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157315&Tpk=H61M-DGS).  I've searched the forum with no hits on this mobo so I was wondering if anyone's used it?

 

I'm using already-owned components for the build:

  2 - 2TB green HDDs, 1 - 2TB WD Red

  1 - kingston 4GB ddr3 1333

  G530

  scratchbuilt SFF alu case with 7 HDD bays

Update: I purchased this board and have been running 5.0rc with 3 drives (as in previous post) since March 2013 without any issues.  'Now looking at upgrading to Plus

I'm glad to hear it's working well. It seems like that a good cost effective solution!
